The Impact of Falling Mortgage Rates on Refinancing and Home Purchases

The recent decrease in mortgage rates led to a surge in refinancing applications over the past few weeks. However, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association, applications to refinance a home loan dropped by 15% last week.
